Carbon Safety will be hosting a 3 day AHERA Building Inspector Course at our Nanaimo Facility. The course has been adapted to provide awareness for workers in B.C. The next course will be in Mid July and spaces are limited.

The intent of the AHERA course is to establish best practice when working with asbestos, and create awareness of asbestos containing building materials, sources, asbestos properties and health impacts. It will help workers identify where asbestos may exist, sampling methodologies, regulatory expectations, and personal protection practices for work in B.C.
The course will be a mix of in class, and practical sampling learning and exercises.
